1 - Immediatly the enemy will be able to cast the most strong spells and thievery operation on us like Meteor Shower and Night Strike.
2 - The enemy assumes the button and can start the war at any time, putting down one or more of our provinces before we counter-attack.
3 - With the button on their hands they can call allied kingdoms to wave and destroy us before they press the button, and there is nothing we can do but to going into a war that is probably lost.
4 - The kingdom chosen can simple don´t desire to war us, so we will need to spend more time to find our war.
For all these reasons I personally don´t like to wave a Kingdom in search of war because we put ourselves in their hands. But in some moments, when we are very ready to war and we can´t arrange a war, can be a possibility try to provoke the enemy.

1 - When a kingdom becomes unfriendly with us the more T/M power we have, more we can enjoy this pre-war moment, destroying the enemy with magic and thieves.
2 - A tactic that I like to use is set a time to all our provinces use 100% of their stealth and mana on enemy. After that we can go to fortified and ask for ceasefire, they will be pissed off with all the spells and probably will not accept the CF request, but may believe in our bluff. After 24-30 hours of fortified when our mana and stealth is regenerated and all our construction are seted to war, we press the button, taking their provinces in a fat condicion. Also we can extend this time in fortified, hopping for other kingdoms to wave the enemy kingdom while we are protected in fortified, just pressing the button when the wheels of fate turn to our side.
3 - We can organize ourselves choosing the best moment to start the war. During this time we are taking all information from our enemy, including knowledge about when is their waving time, who are their most active players, etc. The enemy don´t know if we will accept the war, so will not be entirelly focused on us.
4 - The disadvantage of this situation is that the kingdom that choosen us for sure made this decision based on the belief that they will beat us. So, most of time that we are waved by other kingdoms we are not entirely ready to war.
A fourth option to start a war
Another option to start the war is provoke a kingdom with just two attacks and wait for them to attack back, giving us the button, or at least becoming unfriendly with us.
This strategy only possibly works if we do it against much larger kingdoms than us, who will feel challenged by our daring.
Who to war?
Besides to compare the Networth of both kingdom, being very dificult to fight a kingdom 120% bigger, there are another thermometers do read the strength of the kingdom:
1 - NW/Acre: A very good thermometer is compare the NW/Acre of both kingdoms. Kingdoms with smaller NW/Acre are fats comparing with another kingdom with higher NW/acre. Fat Kingdoms have less power than not fat kingdoms with similar NW.
2 - Number of players: The number of players has great influence in a war. I sugest never fight a kingdom with more than 10% of players your self kingdom have.
3 - War Wons: The number of war wons/concluded wars is a great tip to know if the kingdom is organized to war.
4 - Formation of the kingdom: the number of attackers, thieves and mages of each kingdom and the size of their provinces should be analyzed to see if they fit with what we seek. There are many possible configuration that must be analyzed case by case.
Are we prepared?
An important thing to take in consideration when we are about to join a war is if our provinces are prepared to it answering some questions:
- All our players are active and aware of the war to come? They will be able to be active during war time?
- Our provinces are ready to war with the necessary military and buildings? Their mana and stealth are at least close to 100%?
- We have an amount of resources to support our war? It is safe on the right hands?
If the answering of those question be majority YES, it is time to we meet our destiny...
