Trying to figure how is the best way to a Kingdom kill a dragon I created this tactic some ages ago. The idea is to delegate to our T/Ms this function since they normally don´t particpate on attacks (or being attacked) and are untouched on war, is a form to help the Kingdom a lot with their troops.
It was created when the faries had very high defensive elites so it was more efficient, but I still think it is very possible with not so strong elites.
3 faeries should have this dutty, going to the war with sufficient troops to kill the dragon and still remain well defended. Let´s go to the calculations:
A good ratio for the faeries I would say is 3 elites to 2 defensive specialists (that will be used to kill the dragons). With 7 peasants per acre, 5 tpa and 3 wpa, a faery with let´s say 30 population for acre will have 15 spaces for the military. Following the ratio proposed will be 6 def spec per acre to kill the dragon. The question is how much should be the size of these 3 faeries comparing with the average of the KD?
If we want the faeries being able to kill the dragon alone, and assuming the faeries NW/acre is the same of the average of the KD that is 160 NW/acre:
1 - Dragon life points is the networth of the KD divided by 44
If KD NW/acre = 160
Dragon life points = 160/44 x KD acres = 3,63 KD acres
So each faery (assuming they are 3) will need to kill 1,21 x KD acres points of the dragon. Since each specialist kills 4 points it will be necessary 0,3 x KD acres specialists. Since a faery have 6 specialists per acre it should have 0,05 the size of total KD to 3 faeries be able to kill the dragon alone.
So it is 5% of the size of the KD. If it is a KD of 20 players the faeries should be on the exactly average size. If is a KD of 25 players the faeries should be at 125% size.
It is just an example explained mathematically how the faeires can easly kill the dragon alone and yet be well defended. The number of faeries and the size of eachone should be done acording the desire of each KD. On total the faeries should have 15% the size of the KD and that assuming the modest number of 6 def specs to kill dragon (we can increase it easly to 8).
The real question is that after the faery send all these specialists to the dragon she can use her thieves to kidnap and repopulate her land imediatly, and after that use her mana casting Tree of Gold and generate huge amount of gold.
So, here is the magic only the faeries can do:
Kill dragon helping the entire KD without expose yourself--- Kidnap the enemy underpopulating him --- generate huge amount of gold with Tree of Gold
A chain of 3 things that fit perfectly.
Obs: I think the best personality to run this tactic is the sage. Since you will use mana to ToG not point to be mystic. Since you will use stealth to kidnap not point to be rogue. And being sage you will increase everything you need to this strategy: population, income, tpa and much more.
